It's not enough to think about what you want to create in your life. When you write it and speak it you put it into the universe and the lord. You make it real. If you put hate out, you get hate back. You put goodness out, you get goodness back. What you are speaking or thinking is what will be. No matter what you're going through in your life, great or struggling. It is what evolves.
Much like why people say wedding vows at a ceremony. Sure you could just think about the commitment, but that is not binding. That does not tell the universe, God, and those around you that you love and are committed to the person you are choosing to be your partner. The situations, people, relationships, and so on that will be present in your life are directly related to the "vows" that you are speaking, writing, or thinking on a daily basis.
I journaled for years and often wondered how at certain times in my life things actually became reality. Situations that I thought were truly impossible. Love interests that I thought I never would have a chance with, all of the sudden showed an interest in me. Abundance financially appearing when I could not afford. And so on and so forth.
So if you have a vision and a dream for what you want your life, career, family, finances, and relationships to be in 2018 I deeply encourage you to use this affirmation journal tool. I am posting it for a short time complimentary on my site in the members area.
FREE TOOL!

If you would like to take it a step further I encourage you to create a vision board both for the year and each month. Focusing your eye on what you need and what you are grateful for.
If you don't have time to do the cut and pasting, you can use this awesome tool I use monthly on my ipad or phone. It was written by the creator or "Chicken Soup For The Soul".

If you do have time for actually cutting and pasting your own work of art, here are some vision board tips
1) Think of a word that you aspire to encompass and have that be the center of your board
Example: Encouraging, Calm, or Successful
2) Look up a bible verse that relates to that word. Write that on your board.
3) Then highlight each area of your life and create 3 goals for each area. Home, Family, Finances, Career, Relationships, Health, Fun/ Travel. Post photos & words that relate to each of those areas.
