Kat Minks and ADORE was born over 14 years ago out of love for the greatest celebrations of people's lives.  Initially taking a page from Kat's roots of Minneapolis, the initial company name and now magazine name Adore came from a Prince song. An inspirational Celebration Magazine encouraging others to use their life events to connect and restore love through entertaining.

Not just any Wedding/ Event  Professional

As owner of  a thriving design company, magazine , and mother of two,  Kat is used to juggling the life of a mompreneur. Kat has more than fourteen years experience in event and wedding planning and over eighteen years of experience in styling .  As the creative collaborator and Certified Professional for brides (and grooms!) both traditional and avant garde, Kat always endeavors to fully realize the vision the couples and all clients have for their wedding day and plans for that special social or corporate milestone.

“The most important factors that come into play on every project are inspiration, creativity, and of course, budget” says Kat. “Kat Minks Design  has the capability to work with clients in a variety of budget ranges and we have the talent and vendor relationships to create events that exceed many expectations”.

Top FIve Advantages To You As The Client

1) I have been on your side. I have been a bride and I have attended and held several events.  I know what you are looking for.  Anyone that works on the team also has the same mind set.

2) I look to provide not just "red carpet" service the red carpet experience and design that often celebrities command or expect. I know this because I've worked along side high end clientele from the start of my career.

3) My greatest joy is helping you and seeing a smile on your face along with a product that exceeds your expectations or vision so that you, your family, or colleagues can breathe a sigh of relief.  I take care in all that I do and care about making this event less stress on you.

4) I strive to produce products that are awarded and published. They always say that you need to toot your own horn.  Often as soon as I get a vision for an event I am thinking of the different organizations and publications I can send it to for recognition. Weddings and events I have produced have been published in magazines, had articles written about them and have even been awarded. This tells you as a client that I will do what ever is in my power to give you the best finished product possible and one admired by many.

Speaker | Writer | Creator | Leader

In writing editorials, working with vendors, and talking with Brides and Grooms at speaking engagements Kat found a new need in the wedding industry when she created Brides on the Go.   Initially a  event set up in cities around the country where brides enjoy elegant fare, wedding style, and meet other wedding planners.  Kat says “The goal is for brides to not be afraid to hire a professional to plan an event that is so emotional and of high stature in a couple’s life.  Most importantly saving time and usually 15-25% in the process”.    At this point Brides on The GO has expanded to a Wedding DIY Workshop for couple that want to handle details leading up to wedding themselves but maybe just want day of guidance.

Kat continues to reach for the highest standards in bringing the best forward in events by her editorials for publications, newsletters, and blogs.  As well as making time to speak in seminars, sales training meetings, and other events to spread the gossip to other vendors on what’s hot and what is absolutely not to fellow vendors.

Most recently Kat and Adore Productions was awarded with two International Special Events Society awards and became published in a national publication, DIY Weddings.
